Course objective	For the participants to gain the skills and knowledge of basic first aid, to be able to deal with the injuries most likely to occur in everyday life.

Course agenda	D.R.A.B.C. action plan Respiratory system and chest injuries Circulatory system and heart conditions Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Conditions affecting consciousness Bleeding Shock Fractures and sports injuries Spinal injuries Burns Baby resuscitation Poisons Bites and stings Ear and eye injuries
Course assessment	Written and oral examination Practical assessment
Successful participants will receive a *Statement of Attainment..* (Valid for 3 years from date of issue). Please note: To maintain currency, students must complete CPR training every year.
