Course objective	For course participants to gain the skills and knowledge of the structure and function of an emergency control Organization in accordance with AS 3745
Course prerequisite	Nil
Course agenda	Safety requirements Legislative requirements Content of Emergency Procedures Manual (site specific) Action in the event of Fire or Emergency An Overview of the requirements of local regulations, and AS 3745 – 2002 A general description of the buildings fire protection equipment Evacuation procedures Bomb threat procedures (including specific search procedures) Methods of communication Theory only of fire extinguisher identification and usage
Course assessment	Written and oral examination Practical assessment
Successful participants will receive a *Certificate of Completion.* (Valid for 6 months from date of issue).
